Death Of The Guest Posting? Google Warning on Guest Posting For Links

Google’s John Mueller said guest posting for links results in unnatural links and that Google is already devaluing them.

Google has years of data for its algorithms to catch making it “pretty obvious” to identify and devalue guest post links so that they don’t help a website rank better but has been devaluing them for the past several years.

Facebook Launches WhatsApp Pay in Brazil (After India and Indonesia)

Facebook has identified over 10 million small and micro-businesses (on WhatsApp) that are the heartbeat of Brazil’s communities and continues to evolve its eCommerce push with the introduction of WhatsApp Pay for Brazillian users.

In addition to viewing a store’s catalog, customers will be able to send payments for products as well. Making payments simple can help bring more businesses into the digital economy, opening up new opportunities for growth.

Brazil is third market in which Facebook has tested WhatsApp Pay, and the first where it’s being widely rolled out. It’s also running tests of WhatsApp Pay in India and Indonesia.

Google Reveals How Search Behavior Has Changed During COVID-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has created instant search behavior changes, changes that normally takes months, years and even decades.

Food & supply and Coronavirus news and vaccine are the obvious ones for fast leap in searches but as it seems like the world will be getting the coronavirus effect going into 2022, you should be looking into additional search terms when working on your content marketing: you can find an increase of 45% in “How To” related search terms and a whopping 100% increase in recipe related search terms.
