Voice search is search done using the user’s voice command to search the internet for information and the results are presented by the smart device machine voice or shown on  a browser. In a broader definition, voice search includes open-domain keyword query on any information on the Internet, for example in Google Voice Search, Cortana, Siri and Amazon Echo.

It might sound like a brand-new tech but originally, it has been here for a while. Programs with text-to-speech options are perfect examples of voice search.

Any device that has a dialog system or a voice assistant can be optimized for voice search. However, voice assistants use search by voice capabilities and make your process even easier.
