What is CPV?
CPV, short for Cost-Per-View, is an online advertising model in which an advertiser pays a publisher only when a user watched a video for a prefixed time, calculated by dividing the total cost of the advertising campaign by the number of video views.
CPV, or cost per view, is a performance marketing advertising model in which marketers pay per video view to media sources for a pre-defined amount based on every viewed video generated.
How do I Calculate CPV?
CPV is calculated by taking the total cost of a specific advertising campaign dividing by the number of video views generated from this campaign. For example, an ad campaign that generated 3,000 video views and total cost was $1,500:
$1,500 divided by 3,000 views = $0.50 CPV (Cost-Per-View)
