What is CPE?
CPE, short for Cost-Per-Engagement, is an online advertising model to drive traffic to a website in which an advertiser pays a publisher only for users who actively engage with the ads, calculated by dividing the total cost of the advertising campaign by the number engagement generated.

What are the Types of Engagement?
Engagements (CPE) can be starting, pausing or muting a video to registering, playing a preview online game, swiping or submitting contact details depending on what the ad is about.

CPE, or cost per engagement, is a performance marketing advertising model in which marketers pay media sources a fixed amount based on engagements.

How do I Calculate CPE?
CPE is calculated by taking the total cost of a specific advertising campaign dividing by the number of engagements generated from this campaign. For example, an ad campaign that generated 1,400 engagements and total cost was $700:

$700 divided by 1,400 engagements = $0.50 CPE (Cost-Per-Engagement)
