What an incredibly useful, straight-to-the-point app! Does exactly what I need it to, and perfectly! Fully customizable notification categories, the ability to customize which types of alerts fall into which category, real-time alerts as they're posted by the NWS, and zero branding, clean notifications. Thank you, devs! Probably one of my favorite apps on my phone for how well it works.

Normally I don't do app reviews, but since this is something people depend on for safety, its too important not to. This app used to be fantastic, but now, it's buggy & unreliable. I received a tornado possible storm warning thru the app 12 hrs ago, but the nws warning was issued 3 days ago. Despite customizing the alert notifications, I can't get the app to stop sending the same warning every 3-5 mins, even though I've opened the app to view it. Persistent "error fetching images" of alert area

I installed this app when Weather Radio was no longer supported on the latest Android OS. One thing it did that your app doesn't do is announce an alert even when my phone was set on Mute. That was great because I mute my phone when I am sleeping. I noticed that the Alarm on my phone's Clock will sound even when muted, so there must be some way to bypass the phone's mute setting. Otherwise, it's a great app.
