What is Buyer Persona?
A buyer persona is a marketing term for the process of the fictionalized characterization of the business’s best customers based on their data and information collected from them using the business’s products or services.

Most businesses have multiple buyer personas that they sell to, but don’t go overboard in developing dozens. It is always recommended to begin with only 1 or 2 buyer personas to differentiate between the various customer types and expand it gradually over time.

A Buyer persona helps business owners and marketers to better understand what your customers are: thinking, feeling, concerned about, hoping, challenges, expecting, planning and believing.

Based on that information, a buyer persona is created (or personas) allowing the customization of different marketing campaigns to speak directly to the different segments of the market or personas.
